Business Tips for Kingdom Builders

TIP 1: Recognize God as the owner.

TIP 2: Daily ask God for direction Psalm 119:105 offers this message, "Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to “trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take."

TIP 3: Follow the pattern He provides Exodus 35:1 (KJV) says “Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the Lord put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the Lord had commanded.”

TIP 4: Trust Him for witty inventions Proverbs 8:12 describes one of the benefits of embracing wisdom, "I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.”

TIP 5: Follow His plan "You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.” -Proverbs 19:21 NLT

TIP 6: Operate with Excellence Blessings for the Kingdom Business Owner 1 Praise the Lord! How joyful are those who fear the Lord and delight in obeying his commands. 2 Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed. 3 They themselves will be wealthy, and their good deeds will last forever. 4 Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous. 5 Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly. 6 Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered. 7 They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. 8 They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly. 9 They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor. 10 The wicked will see this and be infuriated. They will grind their teeth in anger; they will slink away, their hopes thwarted. - Psalm 112

TIP 7: Give Generously Luke 6:38, "Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back."

TIP 8: Invest in what He guides you to invest in Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 (NCV) provides a good framework for working in business and ministry. It’s about embracing the future, working diligently, and making investments.

TIP 9: Model biblical and positive business principles. Then Jesus asked them, “Would anyone light a lamp and then put it under a basket or under a bed? Of course not! A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light will shine. - Mark 4:21 NLT

TIP 10: Sharpen your business acumen The wise book of Ecclesiastes continues to provide good wisdom for business. In chapter 10 verse 10 we read “Using a dull ax requires great strength, so sharpen the blade. That’s the value of wisdom; it helps you succeed.” As a business owner or ministry leader, its important to take time to sharpen your ax. You need times of refreshing and your mental and spiritual capabilities require ongoing learning and development. Your organization can only go as far as you have the capacity to lead it, so personal growth should continually be a part of the annual plans for you and your team Published by Simmon strategy Group
